About Lori
I spent 15 years with the East Bay Municipal Utility District before transitioning into technology work for a school district, where I supported staff and students with practical, reliable expertise. My career began in public service in the water industry, and I was an early implementer in bridging the technology gap from water to education.
I've served on this board for 8 years — but my commitment to public service spans 21 years across three elected boards, including a School Board and City Council. Before that, I spent 15 years at East Bay Municipal Utility District — one of California's largest water agencies — including nearly 12 years in Information Technology.
I'm running for re-election because the work isn't done. We're modernizing aging infrastructure, improving financial transparency, and making sure every ratepayer dollar is spent wisely. This year, we hired a new General Manager focused on financial accountability, and we've launched an independent Cost of Service Study so you can see exactly where your money goes.
I don't just oversee water policy — I've lived it.
My life here reflects my commitment to family, public service, and helping others thrive, which I believe fosters a supportive community.
My parents taught me the importance of always helping and staying involved with my community, inspiring my ongoing participation in local initiatives and volunteer work. I have always embraced that skill.
